Surface preparation: We recommend preparation of the substrate be performed in accordance with ICRI Guideline No 03732,minimum concrete surface profile(CSP) of 1. This will insure that the surface is clean, dry and free of grease, oil, and sealers and open to receive SS Slick’em. bond coat Before applying SS Slick’em, dampen the substrate with a solution of 3 parts water to 1 part SS Liquid Polymer (3:1). coloring SS Slick’em may be colored integrally with enCOLOR or with SS Sedona Acid Stain, SS Rainbow System, or SS DYE-namic Acetone Dye. If acid staining the surface, it is recommended to create a sample surface on which to test different dilution rates. A rule of thumb may be to start with 10 parts water to 1 part acid stain. mixing Start by dry mixing contents first. Add 5 gallons of SS Slick’em to a solution of 1.5 to 2 gallons of clean water. Mix well until the SS Slick’em is a creamy consistency. application Pour the mixed SS Slick’em onto the dampened substrate in a long thin line. Spread with a metal squeegee, hand trowel, or magic trowel. Apply as thin as possible while maintaining a wet edge. Allow the first coat to thoroughly dry before applying the second coat. Two applications are recommended. SS Slick’em is not a heavy build product. Do necessary patching prior to applying.

Use water and a scrub brush. Dispose of containers in accordance with local and federal regulations.

SS Slick’em needs to be mechanically ground to be removed.

SS Slick’em has a shelf Life of one year in its original, sealed, unopened bag.

• Application on surfaces with loose, deteriorated concrete or with coating that may subsequently loosen are not suitable hosts for micro-topping products.
• Coverage rates depend upon many conditions including application method, surface porosity, applicator, ambient conditions, etc.
• SS Slick’em is not a heavy build product and an interior use product only. Do all necessary patching and filling prior to applying.
• It is recommended to test this product prior to using on entire application.
